Current Initiatives

Our latest goal is to provide children whom are left on their own, a place for a hot meal once a day, a place to come to, and to feel safe. A safety house within the community that provides stability , comfort, support, and helps build realistic goals for these youth. Many do not have adults in their lives able to provide an environment where they are nurtured and can connect with adults in their day to day lives, and we see an impact on these children. Most are ages between 11-17, and many are responsible for taking care of younger siblings, with no money or food provided for them. We would like to purchase a house with some land in order to grow food, raise some chickens for eggs, and a goat or two for milk. We will try and accomplish this by mid 2022!

Make it stand out.

Events

It all begins with an idea. Maybe you want to launch a business. Maybe you want to turn a hobby into something more. Or maybe you have a creative project to share with the world.

We are currently fund raising for our students 2022-2023 tuitions . We will host an event at Allure Salon on August 7, sunday 11-2pm Hair cuts for Haiti. All proceeds will be donated to students in Haiti Education Project. Feel free to donate if you cannot attend our event.

  • Education Program

It began with a need. A need for a child to attend his school, and could not return until his tuition was paid in full. We chose to reach out to our local community and ask for donations. It started with the children’s families who could not sustain their children’s tuitions. That turned into looking into the community of Anse a Galets, Haiti, where the need was the strongest. Our goal is to build a school where children can attend, regardless of tuition fees, uniforms, and book cost.

  • Lunch Program

Our goal is to have a lunch program for our students. Every child has the right to clean water, shelter, and food. It does not serve these children to go 2 or 3 days, with no food. Imagine that? And study and do well in school? We are looking for funding for a simple but healthy meal for these children daily. It will most likely be the only meal of the day for many of them.

  • Stand Strong Together

We want to connect with the mother’s and women of our community in Haiti. We want women to feel empowered, not defeated, and able to contribute to their child’s education. These mother’s struggles should not be. We can support these woman by actively working with them, within their communities to be financially independent and feel great about the work they are doing to support their children.
